KNOBSTICKER

Just released their new Album 'FOREST FRUIT' - In 2009, Abmip (Pim van Ham) and Cellid (Falco Torenstra) have been working at several locations (mostly Rekçitsbonk) writing, recording and producing their debutalbum. Two lumberjacks from the woods of Rekçitsbonk make music for you to dance to. Disco and electrotunes with Abmip on drums and Cellid on keyboards. And regularly you’ll find some guestvocalists and musicians. Unclear situations guaranteed, but your ears will surely like it. Surrounded by trees, animals, drumkits and a lot of synthesizers, they tried to translate the atmosphere of their hometown to music. Also more information how they use software in the studio and how they recorded their latest album 'FOREST FRUIT' ...

WICKHOP

At first, Wick starts rhyming for a crossover band around 1998. Just inspired by other bands and rappers, he tries to write some of his own lyrics. But around a year later allready, the group split-up.
That's where he had to go creating his own beats and music to write his lyrics to. Started making beats in some tracker-programs, and found out better ways to make beats not much later. Now working for several studio's and Institution's he is slowly settling down in this biz.
Making all kinds of beats, from raw classic hiphop, to clubbangers, from jazz to rock. But also recording live-instruments to arrange, sequence or sample from. A special workshop presented by SAE Rotterdam, all about Resolume AVENUE 3, Ableton and Reason!
